Would have bought one too but I'm very happy for Offroad:wave:
There were probably not enough to offer everyone so they weren't offered.
If there was one person who should have gotten one it was him so no complaints with that from me.
I'm betting that his didn't come with the keylock for his pen either. Most of us really expected and wanted that feature. Would certainly want an answer for why they didn't come with them as advertised.
As I keep warning/mentioning, if you have a slow response LPM then it needs to be "prepped" to see what the real mw rating is. It may not be the greatest way to lpm but hey, you work with what you got until you get something better

Pretty much all 532s (at least the ones I have) seem to do the ramp dance and then slowly drop in output. Others would certainly know better that I but I'm thinking that at least part of the issue has to do with how well they are heatsinked.
Offroad, can you show us the fiber unit? Very curious as to what it is.:thanks:

yeah but i wouldn't have mind paying the money up front so other would have still got there lasers and just know mine would have taken longer to be made. shoot i would have been ok with not getting mine till end of February beginning of march. but it clearly didn't take that long to make as you have one in hand.

you of course they sell them online but not for the price you and blord paid.

your lpm is better off then the blue fan as that uses a 14X14 tec and your is much smaller giving you a better response time. it's probably in the ball park of the laserbee.

Yeah we did not consider that.. And yeah one is no problem but if you get like 6 ordered in GB then it allready gets a bit harder. Next GB will take somewhat longer to make all this possible and get better quality control. Still in a learning process

True, but even after prepping it like that, you still don't see the smaller fast fluctuations. On the tec, you basically end up seeing the average, which is more than enough to get a general picture, but not the specifics.

I would heavily predicate next gb, on first getting everything settled in this current GB.

Did Kevin say anything about allowing pot modding on my HL450? It's only off by 5-10mW, no reason it can't hit 100mW+ I would rather do that, and keep the laser, then deal with sending it back.

Not taking the risk though, without an OK from him first.

He requested to slightly up the current with the pot of his HL460,What he do that will be not within the warrantee,our warrantee is 100mW.

Heah my tracking had that too :wtf: it was planned to be deliverd yesterday bu that did not make any sense since it was in france. After that jt said N/A. So i called and it was delivered today. Package got a beating though.

Well my DHL one looks like it's waiting till after the holiday for whatever reason... dunno why he went the DHL route over fedex but I guess I'll have to wait till the 18th...

Well, the second batch fedex says it left Memphis, TN at 15:51 and was supposed to be delivered today at 16:30 which isn't going to happen. Expect at this point to get it tomorrow baring any catastrophe as I believe they will deliver it on a Saturday. If not I will try to pick it up if possible if it is here somewhere.
When you said you called does that mean you got them to deliver it or they jsut gave you an update?
Please please please let there be nothing wrong with my second batch.

Don't like that the DHL shows nothing but "shipment information received". My first batch took 3 days from DHL. They can't send me notices and tell me it has been shipped if it's sitting at Sky with a sticker on it. In fact, the way they make it sound, it allready arrived. If I don't see movement or a change in status by tomorrow morning I will want an answer/explanation from Kevin. Believe me when I say I would MUCH rather see the status do anything rather than say that. We shall see.

For fedex, just an update, although they offered to have it held for pickup at the local fedex place.

For DHL, update & to confirm address. They offered to deliver to a different address if I wanted, but would have needed to fax in signed form & ID.

They do keep track on the lasers they sent. About the gift are you also going to send that back? I mean he allready made a exception for you giving you an HL laser?

Got it i will send the videos with all complaints at once and distribute the info on where to send them to before that. So that kevin can handle it all at once. Sounds good to you guys? Please keep all the receipts of the shipping so they can be claimed back.
