I got a slip today from fedex that no one was home to sign for a package... is it the lasers or something for my dad :thinking:. They don't know about these lasers yet sooo this is a problem

EDIT: I checked the door tag # on the fedex website and it's from my dads parents (they live in a different country) so no worries. On a side not I ordered a laser from laserbtb seperate from the groupbuy and he shipped it via DHL

I don't think so. Since I got the tracking number from Offroad the shipment hasn't moved a bit. It is still in Hong Kong.

I wouldn't have gotten one anyway I don't see myself spending more money for a laser with a less bright wavelength, less power, and worse beamspecs just for the wavelength and a rare diode its just not happening :undecided:
p.s. I don't tell them the cost usually but sometimes there is a packing slip with the cost and if they saw that they would kill me

I can just picture this......Going through customs in LAX or NYC....opening up a suitcase and finding 40+ lasers of all different sizes......surely a TSA attention getter......
(I know they'd really be checked as baggage)

I don't think taking a large number of lasers through airport, no matter how, would work out well.
I mean on xray, they would appear as a lot of metal tubes, vaguely WWI grenade shaped in some cases.

I am distributing more tracking numbers in a few minutes! Some big orders are plit in two shipments:
- FDA compliable (with FDA form and laser up to 500mW)
- Non-FDA compliable
This is to reduce the risk of all lasers getting confiscated by customs. I don't know that for certain i allready asked kevin why he did that to know for certain. But i suspect it is the above reason. Also i asked what he marked the value at. Also waiting for reply for that.
I will specify in PM if you got multiple shipments or not. I did not mention it all is shipped at once.

Allright guys! Got mail from kevin again. My suspect was right some orders are divided in fda and non fda. To reduce the risk of confiscation!
The fda compliable lasers will be marked as lasers with a value of 20-30$. The non FDA laser will be marked as flashlights 20$
In rare cases fda askes people to fill in a form. If so ask me i got a prefillled form from kevin which you can send if they ask. Again this is rare.
