I see a pen tripod was added. Is the other (non-pen) tripod for both the HL and PL builds?

These all look (from the pictures) as if they are momentary on/off switches, is that right? If so, I'm thinking a tripod isn't very effective if I must stand there depressing a button to make it light. Can anyone confirm?

Duty times:

Can I run my HL532 and Pen635 more or less continuously (CW) until the batteries deplete? Or am I constrained to duty times similar to many of the 445nm builds discussed on this site? I've had thoughts of running them through a Spiro toy, but not if I have short duty times. The improved heat sinking of the PL builds is starting to look more attractive, now.

The non pen tripod is for both PL and HL. They both have continuous on.

The pen laser have a momentary switch but the special pen tripod has a screw to give it a continuous on option.

You cant run the HL532 and pen without duty cycles..

I've been very gentle with my older HL532 300mW, but with the 150mW, somewhat less so... it takes quite a while to warm up.

If you are looking for a laser that can run for a while, you should look either at low power, or labbie setups.

I agree that labbies are better suited for continuous use. I have some gas labbies, but not diode ones (yet.)

I'll keep to duty cycles with these, many thanks.

Okay, I'm going to amend my order yet again. Last time, I promise :p

Please write me down for the following:

1 x HL-520-50 = $450
1 x HL-650-300 = $83
1 x HL-460-100 = $65
1 x tripod = $10
1 x safety goggles for green/blue/UV (type 2) = $45.10 (?)
1 x safety goggles for red laser (type 2) = $45.10 (?)

Let me know if I'm right about the goggles... just want to be sure.

Once the GB is closed, I assume you will PM me with the total amount owed? My Paypal account is all set up.

Sorry to keep changing it up, I was going to order all of these separately from their website, but might as well get them all in one step. Thanks so much!

Well I'm getting pretty excited that this will be closing soon. Can't wait to see this PL405, so far it looks like I'll be the first to have the PL.

Can't spend regular money on anything and my birthday isn't til end of March:p I might have to :spank:and:twak: you :D We're all broke allready.... please someone stop the insanity:crackup:

Totally fine with you changing your order! Only which goggles do you mean with green/blue/uv ? I dont see goggles that block those wavelengths together? Can you send me a link? And yes i will send you a payment adress when the time is ripe :p no worries i got it covered!

Lol sorry my friend :) i am just the guy who arranges everything you guys wish :p if that means ruining your banks accounts. Sorry for that. :tinfoil: also your laser list is getting quite long :eek: i like it :D

Yeah I think I might cut back and not list the generic stuff in my sig such as ebay things. People might get the false impression that I'm some kind of authority here even with such a low rep. I'm learning all the time. I've only made a custom altoids unit. Not impressive:crackup:
I give credit for my units where due in my sig though.

You're still certainly getting a big collection there. I wouldn't know what to do with that multiples of the same wavelength :p
