Got me one... is the percent bar automatic?  It's still at 72% after I and the above guy bought one, but it should be at least 76%, right?

yeah, i was wondering the same thing :-? how many are left? Daedal, how long on average does it usually take after they are all sold before you will receive them and ship? I dont mean to sound impatient, i was just wondering how much time i have to build a circuit for it and such. thanks again for this opportunity after I waited too long on all the previous GBs ::)

This one is done... I just forgot to update the %'age meter... The next order will be very small and probably the last one. I do have reports of the "BluRay Only" device becoming available now ;)

I'm applying to California State Universities and University of California colleges. CalPoly, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC LA, UC Santa Cruz. They were due on the 30th of last month, so I'm done now. Wohoo.

But anyway, great. Hope that they do decide to just sell the Blu-Rays only. Would they be salvaged Blu-Rays or just fresh, new diodes? Because I really wouldn't complain about having longer pins to wirk with. Wonder if it would be possible to harvist a Blu-Ray burner from a Sony/Panasonic Blu-Ray recording device. That would be really sick.

They're salvages. They're the diodes by themselves, not a triple stack like the PS3, and they come the salvaged diodes by themselves with a little bit of the ribbon on the end... as if cut from the device (similar to the PS3 diode).

The price right now is around $40 shipped to me (quite a jump from $25 for the PS3 sled, I know... :-[ Especially that it's not an OEM, fresh, diode). These can be shipped using first class like the ones SenKat sells and I can get similar boxes for shipping. They'll be one diode per box instead of all of them packed into one box. This should not be more than $1.50 for each order.

I'll finalize the details and whatnot and probably drop the price for a larger order. I will be ordering a small batch (~5 units) pretty soon... and that is to only try the product and see how it is, how reliable, and the such.

If anyone is interested please let me know. :)

Interested. But I'll start work on the ones I just got. Reason for interest: friends want me to build them blu-ray pointers. Let me know final pricing and such.

Well, when I see a post that says "This one's done, just forgot to update the percentage meter" indicated to me exactly what it said.. *shrug*
