Aw man, my friend didn't want one (can't understand why, he sait he wanted a violet one, to add to his fusion, but yesterday he said "oh, 20mW, that's not enough for me, I prefer 125mW" - spoiled kid!!!), so I will order 2 diodes now.
I am using PP, but it might take 2-3 days until it arrives.

i don't even think they are selling 125mW violet diodes. Even the blu-ray burners are only 60mW or so.

So, according to Google, ((30,10 * 2) + 12) * 1,03 = 74,36600, thus that amount has been transferred via PP...hope it is the right amount :)

Has anyone been able to get a Laser Power reading on one of these??

They are 5mw correct??

what would be a safe "Max" to expect...10 mw???

Man I hope the price for Bluray BURNERS comes down for Christmas......!!!!

I believe the max rating is 15 mW, but the only way to really find out is to sacrifice one. I measured just under 8 mW on the laser power meter for the module I made, but didn't want to push too much further for fear of killing it.

Also, just put my order in for 2, so when they arrive I will take some photos showing how to assemble it into the tiny casing like the one I already made.
