Good point T_J, and truly if anyone will be near the lafayette, la area hit me up. I'd love to meet some fellow laser enthusiasts!

As for the group buy status. Once the order hits 10 people, hopefully sometime mid next week, the payment situation would have been worked out, so we could hopefully get this GB ordered at least by the end of the month!

I think you may be missing the point of a group buy. Prices are normally quoted for a minimum quantity. In other words, if he only orders 5 of them, the price will go up.

@kmiller8, please correct me if I'm wrong.

As jcranmer said, group buys only work if the minimum order quantity is reached. More people will get interested in it, just give it time.
