10/10:wave: Some questions are tricky tho, but then some are not:) I love nuclear power, and I really wish more money/brains were being spent on improving the problem points. The hot thing now is alternative enery, not improving nuclear waste disposal...

10/10 too - i suppose i haven't forgotten all that much ;)

Thorium is becoming more attractive indeed. I'm not sure if its used for power production just yet, but it seems like it will be: India has vast reserves of thorium, and heavy-water moderated reactors (candu's imported from canada as well as similar domestic constructions). It would seem logical that they would go for mostly-thorium fuel, supplemented by a small amount of slightly enriched uranium as a starter.

I was 9/10 because I missed a question about the temperature of the energy released, which was very high. :)
