Will my red laser diodes pass customs?

i want to purchase the 2 pc red laser diodes from rayfoss.com but someone told me that they might get seized in customs and we will get put on a government watch list... will 2 laser diodes from China pass US customs? can someone clear this up?

There shouldnt be any trouble. As far as I know diodes are OK to import to the US.

Its the FDA actually.

As long as you use the finished product responsibly you should have no problems. Get some goggles too because lasers will blind you before you can blink. I'm sure it would make your dad happy too.

would prefer that range.. if it matters..
ya those will protect you

As far as I know electronic parts are not on a banned list only built working lasers over 5mW are.
