I just read the sticky on greens and about how the red light is IR
Well 2 years ago I got a 5mW green laser and accidentally fried it with a 9 volt battery. It stopped working and nothing came out AND I LOOKED INTO THE APERTURE~ :'( :-/ :-[
and i saw The Red Light of Doom.
i never thought my vision was damaged until i read the sticky today, so do you think my eyes are damaged now?

.................

We can't E-mail ourselves to your house to check your eyes.

You'll just have to check yourself.

Google "amsler grid" under images. To use it, cover one eye and look at the grid. If you see any black splotches, missing portions of the grid or wavy lines, then schedule an appointment with an eye doctor..

repeat with the other eye..

I don't think you need to see the docter. It obviously hasn't been effecting your life the last 2 years, so either you didn't get eye damage, or your brain fixed it before you noticed it. Either way, I think taking the test would do nothing but scare you...

Its ironic that if you do see a problem they will fix it with a laser  ;D

If your seeing floaters thats almost cool. Some people invest a lot of money in their habits for illusions like that. Seriously though you can see those just by blinking your eyes several times or looking directly into light and looking away.
