Are these safety goggles any good?

I ordered a 200mW red laser from Lazerer:
LZCB - 650nm 200mW Water Proof Red Laser Pointer

Since it is Lazerer, it will probably be over-powered.
I ordered these:
Red 650nm 660nm Laser Protection Goggles Safety Glasses | eBay
I did not know until now that they're here as well:
Red 650nm 660nm Laser Protection Goggles Safety Glasses - Eye Protection Wear - Components and Accessory

I wouldn't trust these with high power, but around the 200mW range is considered relatively low power, as opposed to a 1W laser for example. Will these effectively protect my eyes?

They should protect your eyes, I mean it's the right wavelength (650nm) to protect your eyes from the red laser. So with the goggles I would still use the laser with extra care.

It has been said over and over again....your eye sight is worth more than the price of pair of safety glasses!

Just spend a little more and protect your eyes. SL has eagle pairs here: SL EP 580 - 760

Oh and btw 200 mW is powerful enough to blind in an instant...treat it with respect.

The best ones Ive used are from Safety Company | Personal Protection Equipment & Supplies Store. Theyre a good deal at $55

i dont see a single pair of LASER glasses in that link that are $55. id say you are not wearing glasses rated for lasers. this is also your first and only post and you just registered. no offense but i wouldnt trust anything a member with under a few hundred posts say unless it was confirmed by a vet. nothing against you but ive seen many people join and post bogus information that would get members seriously hurt if they followed it

BTW these are the laser glasses on that site and they are all $150+ http://www.safetycompany.com/catego...Safety-goggles/Laser-Eyewear/Polymer-Eyewear/

thats the same link i posted and as i said the cheapest ones that cover the wavelengths we use are $150. SL are $50 shipped and just as good. ive also never heard of that company and if i was to drop $150 on glasses id go to thor labs first since they are tested and confirmed

can you post a link of the ones you actually have?
