well im not sure, however. paypal voids anything over 1mw. i managed to find a 30mw from a uk seller an the next day after i made the payment i got an email stating that the item has been removed an your payment was void, which is why you dont realy see handheld pointers above 1mw on ebay in uk. i still recieved the item tho. hope this helps

<5mW is safe in almost every major country. Paypal allows <5 mW lasers to be sold. I recommend Skylasers, Novalasers, CNI, or Dragon Lasers (slightly more expensive).

Apparently Amazon and eBay are no longer trading devices over 5mW. Here's an article:- http*://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7651466.stm (remove the *)

As for PayPal, I got the 10mW pen listed in my sig a few weeks ago using PayPal from one of those websites that ship them from China. You shouldn't have any trouble.

EDIT: Hang on, what's this?: http*://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/suffolk/7710530.stm

The seized pointers are illegal in the UK as their power rating of 5 milliWatt (mW) is more than the 1mW allowed.
