Red Lasers Safty? Ir??

I was thinking about getting this laser

Do I have to worry about IR, etc. like I do with green lasers?

No IR from red lasers. Bottom line. IR lasers have an IR pump diode and crystals whereas in a red laser the diode is red.

Yeah but the 100+mW output from that laser is more than enough to worry about!

IR is not an issue, but blinding yourself with a reflection or direct exposure definitely is. Get some goggles.
