I own a cosmetic/aesthetician clinic and we have:

1064 YAG
2940 urbium
850 diode laser

I have goggle for each of these machines. I am building a 445nm 2Watt laser. I wanted to know if i can use these goggles or not? I assume the answer is probably no because the spectrum is too high.

Thanks.

[EDIT] I had a stroke of retardation, and I apologise.

Those linked will work well for what you need, but don't try any of the IR wavelength ones you have already, they won't keep you safe at all.

thanks i thought so. i got a pair of "Uvex S0360X Ultra-spec 2000 Great for violet (405nm), blue (445-473nm) and green (532nm) laser safety!" Off ebay for 10 shipped. Now I have a pair of goggles rated for 850... If i build a red laser in the 600nm spectrum in the future I assume I'll have to get a pair of goggles rated 600-800 correct?

That is correct. Unfortunately a pair which covers the full range of light would render you blind.

Well that would defeat the purpose of my laser! TO kill pesky aptasias in my saltwater tank!!!! HAHAHA. And wannaburnstuff.... beautiful collection of lasers!!! I love you cases for them. I am buying a Orange Pelican Case 1170 with pick n' pluck foam to put my laser and stuff in with a lock to prevent mishaps. I can't wait to build my next laser! Maybe a 532... I just need to find a slick host!
