i wa thinking.... would it still be safe to pointer my laser pointer into to sky if it was raining ect....... or would the laser hit the rain drops and fly off every where ? .......

One or more get pointed into the sky almost every night here as I'm working in the shop at the lathe I take a break every now and then and step outside and point my 445 into the sky :D

The water wont reflect any dangerous amounts of light, more than likely it will just diffuse it.

Heavy rain will shorten the distance the laser is unsafe (so no worries about blinding any pilots) and will make the beam much brighter looking.

You should definitely still look for planes-but at least the safety risk to the pilots is less.
