Hi everyone,
I was testing my glasses with a ~150mw red laser, and I didn't realise the laser was focused right on the glasses. Anyways, now theres a little nick looking thing on the lens, here's a picture:

The mark is very shallow and small, the laser was only on for a split second, and I just want to know if the glasses are compromised or not.

Thanks for any advice:san:

they're fine, I did a similar thing, didnt think to test near the edge of the lens. if they still block the light, which you can obviously test with your LPM, then they are good to go. they did their job. feels good to know they will take that energy for you so your retina does not

I was thinking they were fine, but I didn't really know.

I normally test in the bottom corner furthest from the center. This way, it's highly unlikely that you'll ever see it when you're wearing them. :) Almost every pair of goggles I own looks similar to yours, unless I own two of the same rating. lol

Yea should be fine as long as the LPM tests clean  no discoloration, no serious dent in the lens, etc
