I've been wondering, is this just an american thing with retards and lasers, or do other countries fuck up like we do as well? It seems as though people just don't realize that since a little distraction like talking on a cellphone is enough to put someone into a wall at 30 mph, a laser being shone into a motorist's eyes is even more likely to cause a crash.

Not even taking into account that a bright sustained light in your eyes at night will jack up your night vision for a few seconds, which is more than enough time to cook up a nice t-bone at an intersection.

The only good thing about this video is that 500mw is really a 50-100mw green. Still these people need to be arrested and put in jail. If they can do it for people who filmed kids getting beat up and put in on youtube they should be able to do it for this. All we need is one ass to cause an accident with this and BAM there will be a bunch of laws.

Yeah, I'm seriously tired of seeing "America, Fuck Yeah!" all over the internet. This country isn't even all that great when you really think about it.

The sense of entitlement and empty pride just pisses me off to no end.

I mean I'm an American, but I took a test to become one - ridiculously simple as it was, most "americans" can't pass it.

In high school one of my nicknames was Russian Spy, because I knew much more about history and politics than anyone else in the class:undecided:

I understand the need to national pride, but it needs to be tempered with reality.

Being born in a particular country, is NOT an achievement, it is an accident of fate.

Unfortunately too many americans aren't smart enough to realize this either.

There are many great things about this country, but the constant "America, F*ck Yeah!" $hit needs to stop.

The fact the US lags behind nearly all other developed and many second world countries in education is pathetic.

Agreed 100%. It's funny how people are quick to title you the Russian Spy because they're too stupid to pay attention and learn a few things.

I swear, this country is fucking doomed if things keep going the way they are. The new generations are getting stupider and stupider.

I know what you mean... even though I consider US to be my country, and I know there are a lot of worse places to be, I don't think I want my kids to grow up here. (If I ever have kids, heh, :eek:)

America is in decline. The recent/current recession is not going to end unfortunately, and I'm not really seeing anything outside of technological innovation that can pull America out of the decline. I sincerely hope I'm wrong though:(

^^^ I agree, and just where and when did all the 'other' Americans give the USA the right to be call themselves 'Americans'.

S. Americans and Central Americans that I have met think those from the USA are arrogant and ignorant to call themselves 'Americans' as a we are, after all, technically North Americans just like the Canadians are. BTW we dont speak 'American' either --its called English.

And although the USA may not be 'all that great' I truly do love the USA.But you cannot force other peoples to do the same. That can only be done by being a great country that embraces all.

Just MHO- not looking for a fight.

This country does make me sad sometimes, almost ashamed. I was born in Germany, and came to the US of Aholes when I was 4. But more on topic, is there any way to catch these dumbasses? Like with the cameras that catch people running red lights, maybe cameras could be installed in city areas that start recording whenever a laser is being used in the vicinity, just in case someone decides to dick around with one.

Too many obstacles at present would make it impossible. Although we are moving towards a more orwellian society all the time, so given time... I wouldn't be surprised if we start getting emailed tickets for jaywalking.

They should just shove the laser head first into their ass and let it burn away at them.

All of you's are saying America has lots of stupid people with huge egos BUT, countries like Australia aren't much different... That's why the laser ban was placed over here

Someone who is a "nerd" now would probably have been an average student a few years ago

I just wonder how the laser laws are in Japan, if there are any. I'm going to visit over there someday, and might stay if I like it. The racism'll suck though, but i'll still have my lasers.

Look it up on Jref. The Japanese culture is interwoven with politeness, which means the snake will smile in your face before it bites. Japan is very xenophobic: if you aren't Japanese, then you aren't as good as them. Some people there, mostly the younger generation are cool with outsiders, but elders will have reservations. Outsiders aren't even allowed to hold seats in the diet. In some of the rural areas it's a little worse, especially for blacks, so i'll stick to the city.
