I saw him twice, about 2 months apart each visit.

I was having floaters and seeing yellow spots. The color blue is also really blurry. He said there was no problem, and couldnt explain why i was seeing things.

Im not that old(20 years), and I was playing with a 405 120mw laser with goggles, but IDK if they worked right.

Whats your take on this?

Did you shine the laser directly into your eyes or take the goggles off at any time?

The colour blue itself, or the 405nm laser?

Does not sound like a laser related issue to me.

What is the OD and wavelength of the Goggles? 405nm should affect green more than blue, but I could be wrong on that. Floaters can be common in some people, and have no relation to Lasers. Did You notice any floaters before You started using the 405

405nm appears fuzzy to everyone. It's because it's so close to UV.

Around that age, give or take, is when floaters like that start to happen. I started getting floaters around 22. Conicidentally, it was also when I got my first GLP 60mW.

Did the same thing, eye doctor workout, 3-4 second opinions and a lot of money spent. (Since I fly, I can't screw around with my vision.)

The result? It's getting older. And its nothing to do with lasers. A lot of people who start to mess with lasers get "eye paranoid" and start noticing floaters.

It's common, it's natural, you're not alone -- your eyes are ok. (And as far as seeing violet blurry - yes, thats everyone. Everyone.)

^ Yep, you hit the nail on the head! My first floaters occurred when I was 26. I wasn't working with lasers at the time. I did have some arsenic laden solvent hit me in the face, around that time while working in the semiconductor industry and thought that they were caused by that event. But, it was determined after some paranoid worrying that it was just the normal "floaters" most people get in their eyeball gel. Some floaters are just a small amount of blood leakage from the vessels of the eye. It usually is absorbed and clears on its own. Other times an ophthalmologist, will zap them away with a green YAG laser, but thats only if there are an unusual number of them that persist.

floaters? the little black dots that float around your vision? I've noticed them since i was around 9 years old. I use to spin in circles to try and keep them in my vision....they were always trying to float away.
I have near perfect vision, always have. Just don't pay attention to floaters...

I've never been to the eye doctor though. Unfortunately I work for a living, and live in America. So i'm not entitled to health care.

The floaters I see from time to time look like this:

If the eye doctor said there's nothing wrong, there's probably nothing wrong.

This is weird. My eyes must be older than you allz. I'm 18 right now, and noticed having more floaters a year ago lol. It was also around the time that I just started with lasers, so they bothered me a bit too. But I knew they had to be floaters as they would move. I'm able to clear my eyes a bit when I need to by looking one direction then closing my eyes and while doing so, look the other way. It seems to move floaters out of the way.

But yeah, floaters have nothing to do with your laser. I don't know what you mean by yellow spots? As far as blue being blurry, I know others that have looked at 405nm to long have "focus" like problems for a little while after. Being that blue is closer to UV than most others, this could be related. I'm no doctor, so I'm not sure, but just let your eyes rest for a bit. :)

I'm 20 and I've seen a floater or two almost every day for most of my life. Hasn't ever affected my vision, and I've never needed glasses.
