How do I get laser safely sent to my house, though its a stronger laser then allowed?

I live in Maryland, USA. I want to order a 40mw green laser pointer from optotronics.com. Optotronics Product Details
But FDA only allows a max of 5mw. Anything above that needs a switch or whatever on it to be allowed. I dont think the laser has a switch. So how can I get the laser sent from website safely to my address?
Does optotronics.com already ship it in a way so that it gets sent to myhouse safely?
Or what?

It's most likely that it'd make it to you're house anyway but don't take my word for it.

Tips.

Don't use EMS
Don't have it sent as a "laser pointer" instead have like "flashlight"
Contact the company and ask if they could send the item in two different packages

But do all of the above at you're own risk
