eagle pair saftey glasses

are the eagle pair saftey glasses any good? i just bought a 1.6 watt 445nm laser kit from jayrob and need something as far as saftey glasses for me and a friend. im assuming that the cheap pair of glasses from dl wont cut it? im thinking about these ones

Eagle pair are quite good & they look cooler then dragon lasers glasses. There are threads around with tests of them.
Don't recall how they dl glasses compare but I think they are safe. Search for threads on 'dragon lasers goggles' cause 'think' certainly isn't good enough.

You don't want to try protecting your eyes with cheap junk of unknown quality. Like stuff from ebay, focalprice, other cheap / untrusted chinese sites.

Eagle Pair are very high quality and work great for my 1.2 W SL I.

I'd say you should buy the Eagle Pair, as they have been proven to be some of the best "cheaper" goggles around (the next step up is OEM laser systems, which is quite a bit more expensive). I wouldn't trust those DL goggles.

I don't have a pair of eagle glasses for green / blue wavelengths, but I can highly suggest Nova Lasers' safety glasses: Safety Equipment - Novalasers Inc.
A good way to test the glasses is not the point the laser at them, but rather to look at the color of the laser dot while looking through the glasses. Cheap glasses will make the dot appear dim, but still green / blue. High quality glasses will make the dot look extremely dim and orage without even a hint of green / blue.

Those Nova goggles looks like Wicked laser's one...

OP, i recommend Eagle Pair.

The nova lasers goggles are not the wicked lasers ones. I own both and they are not the same. Even if they look the frames look the same, that isn't what counts

Also, the NOVA laser goggles are certified, and the ones that I have (and recommend: http://www.novalasers.com/NOVAstore/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=11&idproduct=110) are OD 7+. The eagle pair is also certified, but only OD 4+.
