I hope to acquire a 520nm around 500mw in the near future. Before that, I want to have safety goggles. I must have read almost every safety related post back to 2012 and know that by and large, one gets what one pays for. The Eagle Pair is often recommended but I have decided that I will get an Eagle Pair for the occasional guest and a certified pair for myself. The pair I am considering buying is AIX-ARG-532 from aixiz, which is around $90 including shipping. In my research, I have found that there are goggles with essentially the same spec, some with more wavelength coverage, that go for $150, $200, $300, and up. My intended use is purely personal and occasional. Given that, my question is: what do the higher priced goggles have over the AIX-ARG-532 from aixiz that I should consider before buying? I don't mind paying more but I would like to know from hobbyists users what extra benefits the higher priced ones bring. Thanks. (Most of the posts I have seen on safety goggles are about how little one can get away with and I did not see one related to my question.)
