I have the 200mw dilda and was wondering if goggles were necessary if i am just shining onto black materials? I know it is always a good idea but is it a must? What are the symptoms of eye damage? Are there any good cheap goggles for 660nm? Thanks.

Yes, look on dragonlasers' site. There are many cheap yet effective goggles and for burning things, eye protection is a must!

does anyone else know of a place to get 660nm goggles? The ones on dragonlaser's site are sold out. :(
