I found some brown goggles which supposedly protect against laser light in the red and green wavelengths. The datasheet gives tables on page 20 about the photopic and scotopic luminous efficiency at different wavelengths, among other things. I tried to see a trend in the data to see if it would hold true for the protection the datasheet specifies:
"Brown color for day use. This provides protection against three types of laser; Ruby (694nm), Neodymium (1064 nm) and Double Neodymium (532nm). This lens may also be used as sunglass although exposure to direct sunlight should be kept to a minimum."
So I ask, any idea what the OD on these things might be on different wavelengths? Thanks
