ok i think you mis-understood me.... :-?

I wanted to focus the laser to a pinpoint on something i.e. a match, the reflections of which will be viewed through my WL goggles.... is that reflection dangerous? and if not how long can I look at that pin sized dot?

Also my WL goggles are the sport elite ones- what a swiz they're more expensive and dony protect as well!

Nah, that comment wasn't directed at you but others that were talking about focusing it into your eye (not at a target). What everyone has said before holds true though. Doesn't matter how focused you get that dot - OD 2+ goggles are still taking away 99% of that power so there's very little to worry about. Don't get cocky and do anything dumb, but if you're just worried about eye damage while burning, wear your goggles and have some peace of mind - they'll keep you safe.

If your ones really are OD 3 then I think the sport elite ones are a rip off!

Lol nerdy? I think they look cool :p

They're no rip off, OD2 is still plenty to protect your eyesight. I personally like sport style simply because it just looks better.;D
I wish I had been more patient before buying the lasershades from Xarylx. It turns out member02's goggles really are OD3 and they're sport style. Don't get me wrong, the lasershades I got from Xarylx are great but I would've really liked to have a pair of sport style glasses. :(
