Very large, heavy and solid feeling laser.

Very tight divergence.

It also came with a power graph, it does 9mw. Even though it is very nice, I cant really see why someone would buy such a low powered expensive laser. The host is really cool though, so this would be a good candidate to swap out for a higher powered module.

You are kidding me, such a mighty host ... for THIS?!

When I read 5 mW, I though 473nm or something.

But 5 mW of green in Spyder III?

This is madness...

I'd call this an empty host, at best. If it wasn't so expensive. What did it cost, again?

wow, did you ask them to review it? Could I ask them like you did, and would they give me one to review?

I don't even think the host looks that good, I wouldn't know which way to point the damn thing.

That laser = fail. I'm glad you didn't buy it, that would have made things a lot worse! What was the asking price for that?

5mW in that beast of a host. I'll bet the 3 LED's for the battery indicator use more juice then the laser. Plus the fact that it runs on a 18650 cell:eek:
Looks like their charging $197 for it:(

If their letting you keep it your going to have to turn that sucker in to a 150mW+.

I think they were asking around $100usd for the 5mW Spyder III before they stopped selling them. The $197 model is 50mW's, still pricey for 50mW.
