Yep. Do/have you taken physics at some point?

Bear in mind that my initial calculations assumed a 5mm^2 dot size though.

Even more interestingly, treating the sun as a point source (quite accurate):
Sun's power at earths surface: ~ 1000W/m^2
Maximum distance from earth: ~ 152 million km
Radius of earth: ~ 6 378.1 km
Radius of our sun: ~695 500 km
Distance between the earth and the sun: 1.51(1.512986219)x10^11m
I = P/4pir^2, P = 1000(4pi(1.51x10^11)^2)
Power of the sun = 2.87x10^26W!!!

Supprising how accurate this is, the 'real value' is 3.610^26 W (Our model ignores atmospheric absorption)

That would mean that the globe actually outputs 50W, but I don't think a 50W lightbulb outpus exactly 50W

O_o I did, read the quote

And yes I do take physics, but simple maths is all that's needed. area, multiplication etc, a little common sense i tihnk. I had no idea how to calculate the power of light per surface area but I worked it out logically. :P

Will a newwish laser have some sort of new wish logo on it? Where?

sorry, but how did you arrive at this conclusion? You mention a "you" without stating the absorbing area of "you", so I don't see how your statement is even either right or wrong. Please let me know if I'm missing something here

I have this laser, but a direct hit in the eye won't blind you, or cause short-term which is good to know. I can't say anything on long term though.
When I got this laser, one of my friends wanted to see it, he's academically below average, but now I know he's intellectually below average, VERY below average. When I handed it to him, the first thing I told him was to be careful, it can blind you. And of course he shines it right in his eye for about 10 seconds, while running away from me. I asked him to check his peripheral vision, and he said he was fine. That was about 2 weeks ago, and he still says his vision is fine. But from now on I'm not letting anyone with a GPA below 3.0 use a laser.
