Hey folks, I recently bought about 15x 70mW green laser modules from the laser land. And they are just out of this world, and for the price it shines! There are a few impressive features about this laser modules that blew me away! they run on 3V DC and consumes leas than 280mAh they are 13mm not 12 like the normal modules, they are true 70mW. Some of them peaked to 75mW, the beam has been set to infinity from company, they have really good quality lens! (Seems like glass) the component on the drive has neatly been soldered, the beam is very viable, even in sunny days indoors the beam can be seen with out a problem, what really impressed me that it can actually burn! now se of you may have seen a 50mW green laser burn! but you won't find any, not at this price at least. so overall this is a great little module with a plenty of power and is very built. So check out the laser land on eBay. And please rate this thread and mention my name when buying, cheers.

There is a problem with my tablet :( I will upload some pictures of it really soon, though they are already in my photo album, so feel free to check the out! Thanks

you get what you pay for, there are 80mW modules out there for less than $20. But life spam is very low, these 70mW from them are 20-25 buck and they are darn good! It comes with a full year guarantee

they were ready measured when I bought them. And a friend also measured them to confirm it, I will ask what LPM he used.

so i was on thier website and do you know what the difference is between a GD-Ms and a YH-M module?

EDIT- i compared a 80mw YH-M w/ a 50mw GD-Ms so the price is a $1 difference for 30mw YH is 27 and GD is 26, also the YH is 13mm in dia while GD is 12mm i now see that GD is more stable
equipped with APC PCB and is much stabler than normal ones.
so im guessing these are the ones you ordered in bulk and got 70mw ave w/ them? if not it would be helpful by telling people what they are getting ie. 13mm diameter module in the OP
 Justin

EDIT- so sorry just reread OP and you did state the dia. is 13mm so it is the YH i guess. so it looks like its this one HERE $27 i would buy one from elyas if your interested and an aussie :) save some money and get faster shipping

the YH is the 13mm module and is more stable, the GD is the 12mm module and has slightly thinner beam than the YH, both module has their pros and cons, the YH's driver heats less compared to the GD (based on my observations and tests) so if you are thinking of getting one, i would highly recommend the YH.

and i am elyas :) the "aussie"

look at post #9 :eg: :na:

but thank you for showing us how these are stable and your whole lot is consistent that means they must test them. but did you buy the YH 80mw or 50mw? dont see if thats specified anywhere in OP, maybe im not reading slow enough :shhh:

Must have been a typo :)

i would like to see your 2 builds w/ them. im more interested in WF-501b and where did you get a heatsink for that, was it a custom?

well then here it is!

yes the heat sink is custom made :D

I have poured epoxy between the module's driver and heatsink to avoid any unwanted motion, and cause it loosen up from the diode

and final product.

you may notice that the final product is not using a 13mm module, its using a 12mm module (50mW i think). didn't have time to a pic of the 70mW YH sold it already.
