Survival Lasers Eagle Pair 200-540nm+900-1700nm Review WITH VIDEO!

Hello I've got the same survivallaser goggles but with my 405nm 100mW it is still very bright, All I can see is orange though, No bluray light. But still it hurts my eyes and gives me what you get when you look at the sun... Seriously I'm worried about my eyes, I don't think these are protecting my eyes at all unless this orange dot is normal and isn't blinding me...

The orange is fluorescence from the surface which is perfectly normal for 405nm lasers. The goggles protect your eyes from the laser wavelength, not the fluorescence. However, it is very unlikely that the fluorescence is harmful to your eyes.

About the wavelength of green Nd:YAG DPSS lasers: They only change a fraction of a nanometer, the complete gain with is something like ~0.1nm. That will not change a thing. OD 4 goggles pass 1uW from a 10mW pointer. 1uW on a small spot is perfectly visible indoors (no daylight), so don't be too worried. It should not look anywhere near bright though.

What concerns me is the remark in the video stating: you can see about 0.5mW come through after a second or two. This means the filter in the glasses bleaches way too fast and is not suitable at all for laser safety purposes. In the vid it didn't look like 0.5mW was passing through, but I'd be carefull.
