Hi everyone! Today I will be doing a review on my 5W laserbee lpm.
I purchased this lpm on eBay for a total price of 304$ use (Including shipping which was 35$) The unit was paid for on October 1, 2010 (Friday) and shipped on October 4, 2010 (Monday). I received my unit here in the us on October 13, 2010. The unit would have been shipped Friday im sure but it was like 9 here and i don't think Canada's Post runs Saturday.
Jerry packaged the lpm in pink foam wrap taped up and placed it in a box with packing peanuts.
I also want to note. Jerry pmed me some tips on disassembly so i did not break my unit
There were no instructions included but assembly was easy enough and did not need any. Jerry told me he would note my issue about instructions in the future.
The lpm is very lightweight but does not feel cheap... Very sturdy and does not rattle. It was clean with no fingerprints.
There's also a really neet thing about this lpm. On the back of the unit it has a compartment where your 9v battery would go but since this unit plugs into the wall you can store stuff inside it!!! :evil:
I then proceed to test the unit. After a quick hookup I had it ready to take some beam! The digital screen was a brilliant and bright blue/cyan color. The sensor head was slightly cold so the numbers were decreasing on the screen after I had zero's it in but after it warmed up it would stay a flat 0000.
I'm going to upload some photos and a video of it in action later and that will show the performance of the laser meter. Hope u all enjoyed the review!
