OK guys so a wile ago I smoked a 50mW green lab laser of mine and struck out finding a 9mm open can half watt diode to replace the pump. Unfortunately do to the size restraints in the laser i could not use any 9mm diode it had to be open can and the base the emitter sat on had to be tiny.
Well the other day I smoked another laser and it had the same pump diode in it.
This time I found the diode I needed here 808nm 500mW 50?M Aperture to 5 Laser Diode Without Cap | eBay
despite being a little more than I wanted to pay I went ahead and purchased it. I also paid $10 shipping from within the states which I thought was a lot considering I can get one from china free shipping.
Well it arrived in 2 days and I was blown away on how it was packaged. So Ill let the pictures do the rest.
In the package it also came with pin-out info as well as spectral and power graph of the diode. Not sure if this is for my diode or a generic one for the hole batch but still nice to have.
