Sent you some +rep for such a well written review and some amazing photos!

As far as the green at start-up; you might want to try some fresh batteries as I sent some old ones with it. I seem to remember a thread from Jake or Dave that said they get the green output when the batteries go low. I apparently never noticed the green shift.

You will have to let me know what you think of the glow in the dark powder I sent. Hit that with a 405 or a high power flashlight.

I'm so happy that I was able to sell this to someone that truly appreciated the laser! It really makes me happy that you are happy.

I'll also add that Isaac was a pleasure to work with. He knew the right questions to ask and didn't jump into something he might regret without thinking about it for a little bit. In this age of 3W+ lasers it's hard to find someone that can truly appreciate such a low mW. I knew he would be happy with it just by the questions asked. I wouldn't hesitate to sell to him in the future.

Fantastic review :gj: and beautiful host and nm
Completely understand the "hard pill to swallow" price/mw comment. It's been my dilemma also with units. I've got plenty of 405,445.447.450,532,635,638,650 and 808 but no "standout wavelengths" in the bunch.
Someone once asked me why I need so many of each nm and my answer was I don't "need" any of them to begin with BUT I like different hosts/options and who knows how much longer before too many idiots ruin things for the rest of us. As it is, I've only shown 4 people outside my wife and adult kids any of my units and rarely ever take one outside or even have a pen unit on me.
Really need to start branching out more with the nm but work has been so slow lately (money is tight) that I'm just messing with cheapo modules and pens for something to keep "fiddling" with.

Prettyyy nice grab for $190 , JCranmer would have been feeling generous that day! I would love to own one of these but I have saved up some $$ for epicness such as this! Or a 589 >50mW would be the one i'll go for..
