Review of a 5mW 405nm Violet Purple Blue Beam Laser Pen

Excellent review, thank you! I just received my "5mW" 405nm pointer today, which I also ordered on eBay. I have no LPM to test it, but it has a 30mW sticker on it, and seems significantly brighter than my 5mW greenie.

Thank you also for the information on looking at the spot, I was worried about that without goggles, this is a wavelength I have zero experience with.

I am also happy The Led Museum is here, wish to thank him for the many many hours reading his site for acute reviews like this for LEDs, back in time in my LED age. Thanks dude, those pro reviews will be very very useful here. Hope to see lots of them soon

I got mine here for 8 bucks. Hoping to mod it to get atleast 80mw.
