I wanted to give Crazelaser the review I said I would do on the laser I just purchased from him.
For starters let me just say that it's not working right now and that is entirely my fault. I'm looking for any help I can get to get it going again. But don't let my join date on this forum fool you, I'm a noob but I don know a little. So for whatever value my review holds, here goes.
I'll review my experience with Crazelaser first.
I got back on this forum after a desire to learn to solder LEDs and other things directed me back to lasers. And some quick searchin I saw he had this laser for sale and though it was an exceptional deal. It was. He claimed to ship the same or next day in his thread that advertised his laser. It cost me 95 with shipping included. Great deal if you ask me.
I received the laser a few days later keeping in mind I'm across the country I was happy about that.
The laser itself was a farmiliar C6 host from survival lasers. 700mW orclaro build that he put together himself. And it was nothing short of a professional feeling laser. The most powerful red laser I've had. My previous was 250mW so this thing was impressive to me. The beam specs were not great but as I understand that's the way it goes with these high powered red diodes and he did advertise because I would not have known this otherwise. Overall I was satisfied with the purchase. After all I had owned before was some rayfoss lasers and an arctic spyder from WL.
So kudos on the build Crazelaser
Here are some of the beam shots I got before I tried taking it apart and messed something up lol

This is a non fog shot light on

This one has some fog no light on and yes I taped a black shirt to my door to reduce the glare of the beam

And this was my favorite beam shot with fog
Also on the left is the wheel to a SWAGTRON T3 hoverboard. $499 new which I've considered trading for lasers. Lmk if you're interested in trade. I want a 589nm yellow laser if there is anyone who would actually part with one.
Hopefully I can get this back up and running if I didn't mess up the diode. Still doing my research on what all I need to make one. So anyways thank you Crazelaser for the laser and your help in diagnosing what I might have done to ruin it lol.
