This is a mini review of the Priceangels 50mW greenie, sold for a little more than $11 here: 50mw 532nm Mid-Open Green Laser Pointer Pen(2*AAA Included)-Black $11.18 Free Shipping

I'm not going to review looks, feel or post pics because this looks and feels just like any other cheap chinese pen, as seen on dealextreme, focalprice etc.

Power
This was advertised as 50mW, and measures spot-on according to my LPM. About 45-50mW stable. My camera was able to pick up a little IR when behind goggles. Nothing serious, but because my LPM has an optical sensor, the measurement could be off and should be taken with a grain of salt. It looked pretty weak to me, but that's probably because I haven't used a <100mW green in a long time.

The laser draws about 0.3A from the battery.

Beam specs
This laser has one wide beam for a greenie. It's about 3mm at aperture. This means the laser doesn't appear as bright on short range, but it also implies nice divergence. I measured about 0.7 mrad on this one.

No mode hopping or instability.

This laser comes with a pen case and batteries included.

Make of this what you want.

Test it with holding a 532nm between the laser and your HLPM and subtract the reading from the measurement without goggles.

But the meter is optical, and afaik (shoot me if I'm wrong) green and IR at the same time can confuse the sensor so I get illogical readings, so that won't work. It would work with thermopiles though, but I don't have one.
