Today I got my Priceangels greenie. As I promised John from Pricesangels to give you a first impression on one of their claimed <200mW laser. This is no “review laser”, I paid the full price.

Output

I expected at least 100mW from this laser, but was disappointed after I did the test on my nospin Laserpowermeter. I tested it twice, with the 18650 2400mAh stock battery and with a 3000mAh UltraFire batt, both fully loaded. Average output is between 50-55mW. The glass in the vid is an IR filter.

Laser itself

It feels good and solid in the hand. Weight with the battery is 146g. The laser is focusable and has a key-lock as a safety feature.

Now we go for some more pics

Conclusio

All in all I have to say that I´m not happy with this purchase, but the main reason for this is that I expected a lot higher output.

I do recommend this laser to people who are looking for ~50mW greenies.

Thanks for looking

Well, hopefully that'll change with a power meter. But seeing as it's a drop shipper, I'm not so sure...

Thanks for taking the plunge and trying!

Thank you!
The time from ordering to the delivery was about 4 weeks. Not the fastest but typically for Chinese orders ;)

Eh, a focusable 18650 green with a safety switch and a momentary side clicky and 50mW output? That's not so bad for $30. But only if it turns out to last long and doesnt die after a few months... The 200mW stated output is a pretty obscene lie though:) Thanks for buying one and testing it!

Thank you for your honest John!

Instead of shipping it back to get the full refund there is an option to send me back half of the price I paid. This would be $14. Shipping this back to China would cost $17 without tracking or insurance. Please PM me your decision.

Hope you now know a bit more what you can expect from your "200mW" lasers

That is a disappointment for a 200mW greenie.
If John is aware of the low power output, why is it still selling at the shop as 200mW greenie ?

There's a reason but I'd rather not say it in public...
