This JETLASERS PL-E is up for sale and on clearence- new member Arjuna has first options-
this is the V2.0 host color is the dark army green gary (hard color to describe)
it has no code- nor key or tailcap dongle pin.
It requires two Li-ions to run.

Below see the pics
test 1) i used two 16340 with on of the free sleeves provided.
these two bats are right from the box- and were only slightly ovrcharged-
yest 2) I added the second battery tube and used two 18650s also just at 3.8vdc
all pics below are taken on a Kenometer lLite whick usually reads a little high.

Finail test was with two KingKongs- fully charged to make 8.38vdc
A power graph was made on a radiant X LPM- Comp of MM and Styro at Radaint )TY)
Lightspeed soft by Trevor.

I will add the actual graph later but the results were a nice quick climb and almost flat line to the end at 180 seconds, Peak was 1322mW and Average was 1266mW. nice divergence for this type of diode only very faint artifacts.
And other than that a clean beam-- laser only is $199.99.
The 26650 Gold KKs are $10 each as is the second battery tube. I ship only to CONUS- Payment is best (and very safe) with USPS MOs.(1.99$)
Bank and personal checks are fine too. local pick-up is always free and comes with an adult beverage.

For the record. I'll take it.

THANKS Arjuna--
here are some pics for 'wanna' to see
with and without the extra tube.
w/o you use the free sleeve and two 16340s
W/ the extra tube you use two KKs or 18650 (again with the free sleves)
I needed to place a magnet spacer between the KKs to make a good conection- I will send one spacer with every order- I recommend that you take care- place the spacer BETWEEN the batts and make it centered to be sure there is no contact to the tube walls with protected cells (a tad longer) you MAY not need the spacer-

here is Arjuna's laser next to a sharpie
I have no extra batt tube in that color so I will send my personal one until the correct color arrives in the next box from Gray
I will then ship it to Arjuna and he can return the 'loaner'

so.. I still have a few Ti-Bs 532 100 /150 mW and three Pl-Es in 532 also.

I have lots of high quality Li-Ions in four sizes and 8 i2 NiteCore smart chargers ready to ship Fed Ex..

:wtf:

OK, that's too big. Can I get a smaller unit? I thought I could keep it in my shirt pocket.

I was planning on mounting it on my telescope, but now I will have to find a way to mount my telescope on the laser.

^^well you can always get the Ti series. its smaller afaik but not sure the exact size and its 532nm

BTW mounting a laser to a telescope is IMO a bad idea. im guessing you use your telescope at night, right? well 1.25W of 445nm or pretty much any laser at that, will ruin your night eyes thus making the laser pointless. you need a lower powered laser if your going to use it at night for astronomy purposes.

That was a joke man. My telescope is way bigger than the laser. I was just poking fun at the size of the Laser so I made a comical image to go along with it. I am planning on getting a lower power 532nm for astronomy. This one will be for cool factor and contacting ET. (another joke)

Glad I didn't fall for that...
But as i have already had a sample of Arjuna's humor I expected no less.

That photoshopping is worthy of a +3 from hak..

have we found the perfect replacement for TJ????-
his quirky sense of humor however is the only thing about Mark that I miss.

btw here are a few pics i took of the screen on my lappy- can't post those til I get to the 'office'<(inside joke)

talk about flatline...
the graph was for 3 minutes. One pair of KingKongs fully charged used only for a few kenometer shots- DMM sez 8.38vdc-these 26650s are 4000mAh.
I have some left i2 chargers also.

***********

edit --oops forgot I repped you for your intro thread- will you take an IOU for that rep once system allows??
