Ok so we have beam shots.... beam shots compared to a 1W 445...
Mode hopping video... LPM...

Euda has already got host pictures.. and a great review here. http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/review-o-like-400mw-new-532nm-laser-warning-big-picz-66448.html

This just shows how much it illuminates a room.

Another one showing how much it illuminates..

Dot through a pair of dragon lasers safety glasses. ( I see some IR)

Next to be shown after this will be the video after I took off the focusing lens..

The video of some mode hopping is short I know but I didn't have much memory left.

400mW vs the 1W 445.

LPM over 1 30 minute-ish (All I had time for unfortunately I had to go out)
Stay tuned for an update because it wasn't a feshly charged battery and I had already used it so it was a bit hot.
O-like states >350 so I didn't think it was too bad.

All in all... it's a great looking host with the same pro's and con's as Euda I think.

I'll update some more tommorow.

Edit: Sorry Euda :D this main seem very very offensive but your name is almost as hard to spell as cvcbccvcvcvc.. :D :D of course when I'm trying to type it from memory :D

The first LPM I did on freshly charged and a cold start was roughly 390 peak and a stable-ish 350 after that but unfortunately I accidentally pressed rest so we'll see on the next graph :)

Edit: Props to LasersBee for the great LPM again!

New LPM graph..

So there you go..

Seems it's more unstable with a freshly charged battery and when its cold than when it was hot with a used battery.

Still it looks wicked and its bright, I'd say still buy it!

If you're shorting my name while typing, can do with "Euda", Eudo sounds kind of wrong :p

You showed me what I forgotten in my review - pictures of the expanding lens when the final focusing lens is taken off. Not much to see anyway, but yeah, worth taking a picture.

So yours is mode-hopping huh? Too bad...

Looking forward to a new LPM graph with full battery. You have to admit that's one stable laser, judging from LPM graph you've put up.

It does seem remarkably stable... The "old" style ones I lpmed both peaked a lot higher, but they were also a whole lot less stable.

Might have to bite the bullet myself again and order another one...:D

I have the "old style" of this exact same laser and it is a VERY stable +410mW in power. It still uses a single 18650 battery, right? That is one of the main reasons I got this laser, those batteries last forever!

Woah did you really let it burn for 200 seconds straight? That goes against the reccomended duty cycle... by far.

Host is way too small to heatsink components that powerful effectively enough to do 2-3 minute burns, I'd say.

Though, after 1 minute, it does go pretty stable on 350mW all the way.

Unfortunately I had to.. the messy part at the start took too much time up, and if I was to end it early I'd have a poor graph to show everyone :)

Thanks for the review.

I have the old style of this laser.

While comparing your graphs to mine, I can report that there is no difference in stability between the two models.

To my humble opinion, O-like may have changed the host, but besides that, it's almost the same laser.

Still, it's well worth 200$.

I too am thinking of the purchasing the O-like crown upgrade 400mw. Would you guys think it's worth it in terms of value and quality?
