I read reviews about Nitecore D4 charger and people are talking about it is charging below the capacity of the battery. I am using Nitecore flashlights and happy with them so instead of having many chargers for different type of batteries I want to have one for all :)

I have Uni-t brand multimeter. Uni-Trend Group Limited
I charged my 18650 batteries and it shows 4,14V when D4 shows fully charged to 4,2V
I think it is too low for being safe:thinking:

Measure the voltage on the charger contacts when it's charging. The batteries are definitely a lower voltage when they're off the charger, but I've found it's pretty close when it's in Constant Voltage Mode. It may be that charging artificially raises the voltage that the charger is reading.

Sorry I missed your comment. What I mean is that the charger's current might add some voltage on top of the cell voltage that causes the voltage reading to be higher when charging. It might artificially alter the reading.
