My horrible experience with AixiZ Service & International, LLC. Beware!

I thought I would share my experiences after buying the Blue Laser Gunsight 100mw part number AIX-BGS-100. I will never buy from them ever again! Owner Chuck Maricle is a liar and a fraud. This is my actual experience and I wanted people to be informed. Here is a link to the item.

Blue Laser Gunsight 100mw AixiZ Exclusive, AixiZ

This is my experience with AixiZ. Being that they were the only commercially available (at the time) blue laser sight I decided to spend the $255.00. Bear in mind Aixiz states on their website, "This unit has been tested by the US Army and Coast Guard for work on Picatinny mounts on the M4, M4A2 and M240." I can tell you this unit has never seen Aberdeen Proving Grounds! Ordering from them was a real chore and there were weeks of back and forth emails and telephone calls to get questions answered. It took several more e-mails to get my item shipped. I e-mailed several times asking for a tracking number and never received one. Weeks went by but my order did finally show up as I was about to file a dispute with PayPal. I read the instructions and began to inspect the item. Over the years I have used a lot of kit and I know cheap junk when I see it. Immediately one could see it was cheap foreign made garbage and was not a 100mw laser as Chuck assured me it was. Tested on a laser power meter owned by a friend it barely measured 5mw and was poorly focused. Tape switch was not standard in any way and fits no fore grip or any “standard” AR-15 mounting configurations. The provided tail cap which is supposed to be designed for constant or momentary on does not work (something acknowledged by the owner Chuck Maricle himself). The defect did not stop him from selling me and a colleague a unit though? Chuck was aware of the defect and shipped it anyway. When confronted about the laser being 5mw, he stated "I must have grabbed the wrong one of of the shelf.” I find this highly improbable and although I can't prove it I feel that Chuck was lying and assumed he was dealing with a novice who would not know the difference between 5mw and 100mw. I was unable to zero the unit with the set screws. Mounted on a Ruger 10/22 and the the laser died after the 1st shot! I contacted the Chuck Maricle and was surprised he issued an immediate refund. It is the only refund I have ever been issued where the company did not want the defective product back. Surprising for an item costing $255.00. I found Aixiz's source for these lasers. They come from China, not Chuck Maricle/Aixiz. According to Chuck he manufactures them. Please be informed about Aixiz Service & International, LLC and Chuck Maricle. Keep in mind that some end users could mount this unreliable platform on a weapon system and be putting their lives at stake if this unit failed! I wanted the community here to be informed about the dishonesty and horrible customer service I received.

Cheers

Do you have any proof of all this? Pictures of the defective unit? The power meter used to test it? Test results? E-mails? Anything?

Yes some proof would be nice! Apparently you have an LPM reading, so you should provide that. Any communication between the you and the seller is also important minus any personal info of course.
To be honest I have no idea why a violet (405nm) would make a good gun sight anyway. It is a very dim wavelength (nearly UV) and is hard to focus on at a distance.

I was kinda wondering the same, not to mention I always thought any laser more than 5mw on a gun sight was kinda dangerous if you ask me for a fear of accidentally hitting an innocent person in the eye

You're right, it is dangerous using a high powered diode for a gun sight but it isn't too uncommon for laser gun sights to be over 5mW.

Hmmmm......:undecided:
Your first post on this Forum and it is NOT in the
Welcome section for new members to introduce
themselves.

If you have a problem with a Seller... perhaps you
should solve that problem with the seller.
That being said..... Nice brick of text.

I've dealt with Chuck of Aixiz many times before and
your assessment of him is contrary to the generous
and friendly customer service I have always received
from him.

So what model of Laser Power Meter was it tested
on and when was the last date that the LPM was
calibrated ??

Let me see if I got this right...

1- took forever to get your item.
2- you found it cheaply built but installed it anyway.
3- you broke it.
4- the seller immediately refunded you the costs and
you kept the product.

Sooooo Why are you complaining here

BTW thanks for confirming my experiences with Chuck
and his excellent customer service...

Lol, you actually broke that text down into something I understood Jerry. It seems clearer now. :p

You're welcome....
I hate reading Bricks of text.
I usually skip over them.
Bricks of text just shows no respect
to the reader...IMO

I can read blocks of text, as long as the writing is in a clear manner. Punctuation, clear context etc as I've seen lacking in many long posts.
I try to break the text up if I have a lot too say.

Long ago I learned to break it up to make easier to read, huge bricks I never fully read, chopped up, I can.

Well, some people just can't read huge blocks of text. Dyslexics for example. Also people with shorter attention spans or overactive minds can also struggle reading large blocks of text. I have Asperger's. I struggle; as I have said previously, with big blocks when they aren't punctuated or have a clear idea of what they are saying. I am continuously trying to work out too many things at once, stopping me from focusing on the broader picture.

I guess that means you are quite normal, none of us are perfect, if we were, someone would be so envious we would soon be dead.

I can read Blocks of Text just fine...
But they are a PITA... There is no broken
down logical flow of info like the author
had no clue to what he wanted to say
other than to Rant uncontrollably...

What is normal. I certainly wouldn't define it based on myself. :p
Owning as many lasers as I do, or knowing what I know isn't normal to most people around me, yet here it is absolutely fine.
Just think of a perfection paradox. If you were perfect, then you would no longer be classed as perfect as you would appear foreign hence not perfect. Therefore perfection has to be non-perfect. Get your head around that one. :)

Most of these type of complaint threads are exactly that, a uncontrollable rant.

I've read that Normal is being in the 95 percentile
of the population.

Well normal is I suppose the average of the population. So it would make sense. However, i'm glad i'm not 'normal'.
