Nice video Captain! You should make another video with the laser burning other stuff. That would be cool.

Thank you! I will make a video soon of it burning more stuff later on maybe tomorrow because the bats are dead and it's 2200 10:00PM so i'm going to go to bed, be refreshed in the morning and then I will make a video of it burning things. ;)

Just be sure to mention eye safety protection somewhere please. We can't drive that home forcefully enough here on the forum. Eye safety gets +1 rep any time I see it. Have I ever received a laser eye injury? Yes, and anyone who works with lasers long enough will confirm it too. /end rant

Thank you I did mention eye safety too. In the beginning I showed a pair of goggles and I said goggles are needed.

1080p! Wow! Very cool video. Thanks!

Can you see the beam like what's captured in the video? That red beam looks very visible.

I sort of hot boxed the room so the beam is alot more visible. The beam is pretty visible without fog but it's brighter with fog.

Good video overview!

I do the same thing, I think it is just easier to read text on reviews/tutorials.

Thanks styro. I do text instead of voice because I need to think about what to say. For example if I said "Look at that beam!" and I was the only one to see it and my camera didn't pick it up then that would be a mistake and there would be a bunch of hate comments on youtube.

Dan, you can post your videos in right in the thread like DLMB did earlier. All you have to do is take the video ID in the end of the youtube URL which is:I36tgq2NR3I and paste it into a your post, then use these two commands
