A true < 5mW 450nm laser from laserlands, costs $ 18, Free Shipping is available but I used DHL :D , It's worth buying. The beam is visible in the dark. Laser power is verified and tested on my university LPM and on my LPM. there was a slight variation of 0.6 mW. The laser is safe for Presentations, playing with pets, and Shining around your room in the dark without any need for Safety glasses. I'm currently buying three from laserlands. I also, asked them to custom made a 515nm laser and they agreed

Nice! For some reason I had in my mind that Laserlands was sketchy. What's the difference between this laser and the $50 5mW 450? Just the body?

Current draw? Current regulation window? Beam diameter? Beam shape? Beam divergence? Temperature rise? Driver topology? Case material? Case dimensions? Shipping time? Lens/aperture features? Switch mechanism? Product link?

Power reading + pictures doesn't really qualify as a review.

Add a daylight picture. Add a picture against the wall with the lights on.

What diode is it using? What are some flaws? Buying experience? How does it match up with claimed specs? Oh, and an omelette would be nice. Please and thanks.

Case Material Aluminum + Copper for diode casing

Dimensions: L = 16 cm, D=14 mm

Laser shape: dot

Switch mechanism: press ON- release OFF ( Like normal laser presenter)

Lens: do not know, you cant access the lens without taking the laser apart.

Shipping: It depends on the service you choose. I used DHL and it took 3 days. It was shipped a day after payment so, it took DHL 2 days to deliver it. There is a free shipping option but I do not recommend specially during Christmas as it will take around a month to receive it.
