I am also interested in this laser.
Is there any discount coupon ?

Jim

The Boxing Day coupon came via their newsletter, "boxing1" should yield a 15% discount today still, but the sale is over tomorrow.

I agree with the wow factor, it's surprisingly bright, and I'm not sure why but I can see this one travel further in daylight than a 5mW green.

Longer wavelengths focus better on your eyes and you are able to see them better long distance. Seeing as 593 is around 90% as bright as 532 the longer wavelength is beneficial to it being seen better and it also gets scattered less.

I see, thanks.

Glad you are enjoying your laser!

We have multiple power meters of various types and brands, and all lasers are checked on at least two different ones. :D

I am very jealous of this.... This is a sweet wavelength and it looks like real quality! Plus the orange drank factor is a plus

Very nice Rigel you have there! Don't let your batteries drain too low, you might see green come out of it. My rigel produces 532 when my batteries are drained, and I thought it was a problem at first, but the kind people's at Laserglow informed me that it's just bad batteries.

I've actually noticed this lately, luckily I was prepared with 40 AAA batteries. lol

That makes me want to find some half dead batteries to try this. :)

Wow. I missed when this was originally posted. Yellow lasers are awesome. I love 589 even though it's only 1mw. I really wish I could have snagged one of those custom engraved LPF 593.5 Rigels last fall. Oh well someday I'll add one to my collection.
