First review of the LB V3.1!

First off I would like to say that 405nm light is the weirdest wavelength to see. When I unboxed the laser, took it out, and turned it on, I shined it at the wall and noticed a very purple dot. It resembles the color of a black light. It also acts like a black light how it charges up the glow tiles or turns different colors on every surface. When I shine it at a white shirt it turns into a very bright light blue dot. It is a lot different to see in person. The pictures arent acurate because I can barely see a beam in the dark. Its there but it is dimmer than my DX 200 which is very dim.

The package included:
-The Laser
-GITD Lense cover
-USB cable
-Directions

The thing that I like most about this unit besides the color light is the fact that it is USB rechargeable. It comes with a USB to Mini USB cable for charging. It is also a universal size so I can use an old phone charger if my computer is off.

The size and shape of this unit is very comfortable to hold. It fits right in the palm of my hand.

It also focuses very well. It burns my wallet faster than my X100. It lights matches instantly. It lights fuses. It also stings my buddys neck from 10+ feet away when he is playing guitar hero ;D This unit is set to ~70-80mW (depending on temp) I cant see much of a difference from when I start lasing to when it is warmed up.

The pictures are deceiving because the beam is barely visible at night.

This unit was well worth the $160. I think it was actually a steal at this price

Id also like to thank Tom for his excellent customer service, we talked for a bit before I made my order...hes a great guy who makes a great product :)

Nice laser, and nice review! I am surprised that it is that compact, I thought the laser box should be much larger.

I am getting a blu-ray soon, I am SO longing for that unique color!

Glad to see a review on this laser.

I love mine. It is just such a well made laser. I showed it to my friends and they were amazed that it wasn't made by any company :)

The fact that it is so small and neatly done just adds to its charm. Like I said in the selling thread, the fact that it is box style just gives it character :) I wouldn't have it any other way ;)

Makes it feel more 'playful' and 'fun'.
