ok this my 1st review ever on LPF.. so have mercy on me :)

1st of all I want to thank Hakzaw1 for this fine piece of work :thanks: he is a great person to deal with and answers all my questions even about other laser questions.. Grade A+ (He has plenty left, hit him up you will be happy!)

now for the laser.. Grade A (not A+ because of the cheap plastic box, not Hak's fault, that's just how they come.. quality is in the laser!)

Jetlaser Ti-B 2.0 532nm and 150mw

I do have a 3.2 laserbee LPM and it peaked @ 189mw and steady @ 176mw (it IS IR filtered)

I don't notice any mode hopping and has a fine sharp beam when focused!

Very Happy

now the pics (sorry not as good as Blords :) ) enjoy;)

It is titanium so it's not heavy at all, I don't have a scale so maybe Hak might fill us in on that weight issue :)

Excellent review , especially for your first.

Thanks for all the kind words- I have 12 Ti-Bs here ready for adoption.

Til Mar 1 all those paid for get one free 16650 red Sanyo battery.
These have been very consistant. Extremely stable for a DDPS laser.
Only one has ever needed to be returned and that was for a minor issue with the knurling on the side- not for the laser itself-
The buyer got a quick replacement and has been back for more JETLASERS.
here are some of my recent graphs- I am away from home on my laptop so I will add who the owners are later. One or two of these is not yet sold or promised.
Even the 100mW will burn. Typically these all have been between 15 to 40% overspec.
This assures that later in the lasers life it should never drop below spec.
These were done on my Radiant X.

How heavy is it?

w/o the sanyo 16650 --199grams
w/ 237..

pros-- exceptional attention to details.
not much room for improvement.
unique(almost)host
IR filter-rev pol protection
unsusal 'square threads'
VERY sharp attack crown.

cons..
it turns out that Titanium is not a good metal for heatsink(the one inside is Al.)
cycle needed 3-4 min on- 2 off.
(all my graphs 3 min at 6 inches- defocused)
likely to get stolen if not watched
VERY sharp attack crown.

pros-- exceptional attention to details.
very thin beam and nice divergence
(not much room for improvement.)
unique(almost)host
IR filter-rev. pol. protection
uses great sanyo 16650- good run times.
unusual 'square threads'(impossible to cross thread)
VERY sharp attack crown.

cons..
it turns out that Titanium is not a great metal for heatsinking (the one inside is Al.)
cycle is needed 3-4 min on- 2 off.
(all my graphs 2 or 3 min at 6 inches- defocused)
white plastic internal spring 'ring' CAN fall out- its not glued in place-( just keep the cap on at all times and watch what you are doing when its off.
likely to get stolen if not watched
VERY sharp attack crown.

That cycle is way more than I usually have mine running so that's not a con for me. I cant get over how "sharp" the design is on this host. Very sleek.
