I have to say that in my many transactions with Jake I have found him to  be a fantastic source for my parts. His prices are beyond competitive, his customer service is exemplary, and shipping is always fast and secure. He is an asset to this community!

I really DON'T want to get in the middle of anything here, but I feel I should at least stay with the "review" portion of this thread when I say that I ordered a polished Kryton 6X at 200mW from Jake last week, the same day I ordered a 2-tone anodized 6X Kryton from Dave. Now, I'm not going to disassemble either one, etc etc just to nitpick, I know Daves work (by reputation) is top notch and have no reason not to think Jakes is.

Daves laser arrived on Wed, but due to a slight payment mixup, Jakes arrived on friday as he had to wait almost 24 hours for the payment to arrive. Jakes laser was VERY well packaged, especially considering it was packaged with several other delicate (and a couple not-so-delicate) items.

As the photo shows, the visible output of the 2 is virtually identical, and they both throw a very nice, bright beam. The slight advantage goes to Dave in the beamshot, but that is more than likely due to my not having focused both lasers identically (just an "eyeballing" ...

SO AGAIN, without going into too many details, Jake's price was quite fair, shipping was well excecuted and on time, and the finished product performs as represented, and as expected.

Also of note, the one mistake that was made was that he accidently sent me an LOC sled instead of a PHR, but as soon as I let him know he promised to send me the correct sled as soon as he gets more in this week, plus offered that I keep the LOC for the mixup - to me, that shows good faith and great customer service. Thanks Jacob!
