That depends. It's really up to you. I would personally go with the 200mW one, but make sure you buy some better 10440 batteries as well as a charger.

Lighthound has the AW 10440's not sure what they charge for international shipping.
AW 10440 Unprotected Rechargeable Lithium Battery

Also recommend getting a charger that gives you room to expand since they are not much more than one style battery chargers. Here is a link from ebay not familiar with the seller but the product is right.
Trustfire Charger TR-001 3.7v 17500 18500 17670 Battery - eBay (item 370422625653 end time Sep-19-10 11:35:30 PDT)
I have this unit and it is compatible with 10430, 10440, 14500, 16340 (CR123A)17500, 17670, 18500, 18650 batteries.

EDIT
Ossumguywill I did not see that you responded. I am not sure a protected battery will fit in this host. It seems to be a snug fit with the AW 10440's. Are you using these? If so any fitting issues?

Oh thank you
I read that the divergence is pretty bad. So I think the other one would be better for me right? If it burns or not doeas not matter for me. It is important that the beam of the laser is very bright

And it should not be very expensive ;D

Or would you recommend me an other pointer?

I don't have the laser, but if you use a crappy charger you MUST use protected batteries. It's a lot more expensive to use unprotected and get a good charger IMO. But I'm not sure if it will fit.

@Anunymux-You might want to take a look at o-like and rayfoss lasers. Their lasers are typically decent quality. Do some looking around before you buy.

Yes an other user wrote me the same. Are you shure that rayfoss lasers do really have 100 or more mw? They are much more expensive^^

I think I will buy this one...my laserpointer with 30mw looks exactly like this. I have to believe that this one has true 100mw.

www.rayfoss.com
Rayfoss and o-like almost always match their rated power output. If you pay for 100mW, you get 100mW. But that "200mW" laser from focalprice is usually only about 80mW.

I got one of the units and I really like it. Especially for the price.
Divergence doesn't look bad until I can actually test it.

As far as the 10440 protected battery......(TrustFire)
It does fit with the tail cap screwed all the way in. One thing I did notice was I had to push the + battery into the tail cap all the way 1st and then slide it in. The protection circuit is slightly larger than the standard battery dia. If I did a "normal" install, it didn't work as the + battery wasn't pushed all the way into the tail cap.
Put it in the tail cap all the way 1st, thread the battery & tail cap in together, and all was good to go......

Even with the divergence it still has a very impressive beam pointing into the sky at night. And I have had good luck. The two units I have LPM @ 116mW and 128mW. It does have a large percentage of IR tho.

I bought one a couple months ago while i was waiting for my artic (which i canceled) and it works very very well. It burns with no problems and for $30 its a great laser to have. It can be useful also as a weapon. Say someone pulls out a knife or something on you. Blind him with the laser and get the hell out of there. Where did that one get get the focusable lens from?

Not very useful as a weapon. Try hitting a moving target in the eye in the heat of the moment.

I used an Aixiz acrylic lens from an Aixiz module. Got only slightly better divergence if any at all.

At the price they are I figured they have a fair amount of IR. Still, its an impressive beam in the night sky or a dim room.
I need to get some beam shots of it, my 532nm DX module 200mw(which I'm sure isn't) and my 2 532mw 5mw overspecs all together. None have been tested on an LPM.
If my son comes home tonight(from college) maybe we can do it.

Got mine a couple of days ago. I'm pretty happy with it for the price. I have the same issues with divergence. Wish I could measure it, but I've still yet to get a LPM. But compared to the Novalasers X125, it definitely pales (for a supposed 200mW). Here are some beam pics, the Nova is on the left in all pics, and you can tell the beam is brighter (in real life, the beam looks much 'tighter' as well) ... also, the Nova's dot stays pretty small even over distances of 500ft.

Guns are a little different but i could hit a moving target in the heat of the moment I'm also trained to do so but i wouldn't think it would be all that hard. Hmm maybe I'll have a friend throw some goggles on made for green and see if I can hit him with a less powerfull red laser.

Well you are not limiting yourself to hitting a moving target in the eyeball with your gun.

If you are going to use something that will be life changing like hitting an attacker in the eye with a powerful laser you might as well just shoot them with a gun. The dead are not likely to sue for loss of vision in a self defense situation. And even if it was a clear cut case of self defense you would probably still loose a lawsuit because even the Geneva convention says lasers weapons are cruel and inhumane. Thus banned as an weapon on the battlefield. Also you cannot use your hand to stop a bullet like you can with a beam of light.
