Well, I just got my BR, back from Jake-21 who was kind enough to help me with the assembly. I don't know how many mA's or mW's it's putting out, but even unfocused (slightly) & a low battery, it will still burn my skin instantly. The build used a Dorcy Jr. Host, courtesy of Stonetek Electronics, a Microdriver from Dr. Lava, & a BR diode, thanks to ndrew2505. Assembly by Jake-21 & myself. It's a nice little unit that you can keep in your pocket. Oh almost forgot to mention the dust-cap due to the generosity of jayrob. So all-in-all it came out pretty nice. I can't wait to get a NEW battery in there. Thanks to all who provided parts &/or expertise ;) rob

US Seller.. no waiting for China. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] What is nice is the laser will just shut off when the battery drains, especially if it has a flexdrive.

This 3.7v batt will give a longer runtime when hooked to a flexdrive also. The other RCR123 batts they sell are 3.0v .

You may have to build the positive contact on the dorcy up with a bit of solder to get a good connection.. I had to with my Dorcy Jr. build(open-can red).
