I got my first review pen from dino direct about three weeks ago, and it had a chip in the lens so I had to contact them, they had me take a picture of them lens, and after sending that to them, they sent me a replacement right away! GOOD JOB DINO! I did not even have to send the old one back!
Shipping:
Shipping time was about a week and a half, which is the norm. It was in a small (very nice) Foam padded magnetic case with the laser, the 10440, and a tail cap inside a bubble wrap shipping pack. Inside the pack was the laser, and a few gifts! like the discount codes and a packet of crystal mud. That was nice of them.

Power:
Boy oh boy does this thing pack a punch! I meter it at about 130mW AVG with a peak of arround 150mW on full 10440s. I have run it for 3 min in a row on my laserbee and after it hits over 100, it never went down in the entire 3 min!

Pros:
-heavy
-powerful
-good divergance (about 1.7mRad)

Cons:
-Heats up FAST
-low battery life

Over all it is a GREAT laser to own, I would suggest it to anyone.

Here are some pics of the unit!

And a vid of power test, and burning.

Hehe, yeah I know it's a personal matter.
I just hate pen style pointers. And it looks like a keychain dwarf pen !
Haha, I'm more with the more professional looks.
Of course, it has a great power. What would be its price?

Looks good, does it have a IR filter? Just wondering how much of that power is really 532nm.

hey.. how could it possible 130mw?...... this 1xaaa host is smaller in diameter than regular 2xaaa host pen.

the inside of the pen.. allows thinner diode. not the classic 1.2mm diameter module.

i opened a thread about a focalprice 200mw 1xaaa pen. in the green room. all people said me that is impossible to reack 100mw... but now i SEE that this laser with LITTLE DIAMETER... have a module capable of 150mw peak!!!!!!!!! wow....

how is it possible?

I suspect because one it's using a 10440 battery, and two it's probably putting out a lot of IR in that power reading.

try to do this IF you do not have an it filter:

use a piece of paper with a little HOLE. it will blocks a lot of ir that spreads out with large MRAD. and then measure the power at 20...30 centimeter from the meter.

this should put OUT most of ir...... almost all. with my meter i see that readings change if i meter the laser at 5.... 10... 15... 20 centimeters.... more range you ise to read power.... LESS ir go in the meter....... you put the laser at 3 cm from the lpmeter..... :( please-----tell us real power at 20 centimeters....

i would buy this laser.... however... i like 130mw of power in 1xaaa host.

ps: Don't Laze Me Bro CAN YOU say me the diameter of the pen? if it's the same of others 2xaaa pen or smaller?

Please, give us the only green readings ! =)

Ok lets see now
-It uses a 10440
-I have an IR filter and will test it again, but last time I checked it was not very much IR.
-It does not matter how close the laser is to the LPM for the reading, as long as its not close enough for the aperature to trap in heat. At 20cm more the power would go down due to the light reflecting off of dust in the air.
-this laser is right arrould $40 US

It is 20-25mW IR.

Looks like a nice pointer. I may want one.
Quite small... however, its power is quite intense for its size.
Plus using one battery, its battery life sure looks short.
Also, It looks like it comes in a nice plastic box!
I prefer these plastic boxes over DX black paper ones.

Yeah it does, it comes with everything needed except a charger for the 10440. Battery life is usually 4-7min of run time, not the best but there has to be a trade off somewhere.
