I'm going to be doing a quick review of the Jetlasers Ti B 532nm laser, bought for an awesome price thanks to Gray from Jetlasers and their group buy going on right now here.
To start, I'll go over shipping. I payed my invoice via PayPal Friday the 13th a little after noon. The following Saturday morning, I got an email with a tracking number saying my laser has been shipped. I saw the estimated delivery date was Tuesday the 17th, which honestly blew me away. I mean come on, 4 day shipping from China, with it moving over the weekend? Yeah, right. But true to their word, it showed up on my doorstep Tuesday the 17th right around 3 in the afternoon! A++ for shipping.
The laser was also packaged in such a way that would be appropriate for shipping a newborn baby in the mail. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Nothing stood a chance of harming this while in transit. A++ for packaging!
Here you can see the little box that everything came in.
And here we go, opening her up... Even more protection! Foam lining, layers of bubble wrap, and literally everything enclosed in anti-static bags.
Here we go, all unwrapped. We can see the fully assembled laser (tailcap was in its own baggie), diffraction grating, and single battery charger. It did not come with a battery, but the addition of the charger was nice. Was not expecting that.
The host is solid as can be. It feels more sturdy than steel, and a third of the weight. Titanium is now my favorite metal. Oh, and the ruby colored filter on the front makes my man parts tingle. Build quality is A++.
I'm going to steal Jetlaser's LPM graphs for this laser since I still don't have my own. That really needs to be my next purchase... Anyways, the laser is rated at 162mW.
Beamshots to come when it gets dark!
Overall, I'd give the Ti B a score of 100%. I'm dead serious, this laser is perfection. This little thing sets the standard. If anyone is on the hunt for a premade laser, or a strong 532nm, Jetlasers is where you should go. I will definitely be buying from there for many years to come.
