Having the correct tool makes any job easier and I recently found two tools that make working with the Aixiz lens assembly much less frustrating. A gentleman by the name Brandon, from Microtek Illumination machines them and they work wonderfully.
My first attempt at the Jayrob 405-G-1 Glass Lens Mod was a frustrating disaster. I tried using a flathead screwdriver to disassemble a brass Aixiz assembly but only ended up mangling the threaded retaining ring. I thought that the assembly was trashed beyond redemption, a total loss, but with the Lens Removal Tool I was actually able to get that *&^%$#@ stripped-out ring unscrewed with very little difficulty.
The Lens Removal Tool is machined from stainless steel.

If you have an Aixiz module but lost your focus ring or you use the Lasers4u module then you know that adjusting the focus is kind of a pain in the ass. It requires that you use a screwdriver and that means you can't actually see the dot as you are attempting to focus. There is a better solution... a custom made Aixiz Module Lens Adjusting Tool (think screwdriver with a hole down the center).
The Lens Adjusting Tool is machined from aluminum.

Brandon also does custom work. (The lens removal tool was my idea ) If you need something turned up on the lathe or machined in the mill, shoot him an email and ask for a price quote.
