Okay folks - the LONG awaited Blu-ray review is here !!! First impression when I opened the package was - wow....this has a lot of stuff in it ! 
He sent the laser itself, a full color brochure (4pages total – 8.5”X11” paper, folded in half), a small baggie that has three different small little vials of liquid in them for flourescence experiments, a small pallet of different colored paper cards that demonstrate the flourescent capabilities as well, and it came in a very well packaged and padded envelope. Now my laser power meter does not measure the 405nm wavelength – so I wil have to go by the stated output power in the brochure. The brochure also lists the following information :
• Output power – 7.7mw
• Wavelength – ~405nm (approximate)
• Battery type – AAA (2 cells)
• Dimensions – 5 3/8” long X 9/16” wide
• Weight – 2.4 Ounces (including batteries)
• Safe operating voltage – 3.3 Volts D.C. Maximum
• The proper orientation for the batteries – wrong for most other “pen” styled pointers – + end goes in first !
• Serial number of the laser

It ships from Wisconsin, and the Buy It Now price is $349.99 - WELL WORTH IT !
This laser is lighter than most other pen based lasers I have used in the past - it appears to be well constructed, and yet lightweight. It fits well into a shirt pocket, pants pocket, etc - and is very durable.
The only downside I saw to the contstruction was the spot where a clip was very obviously designed to be installed on the case, and it is not - leaving a few small "slices" in the casing of the laser, that moisture, and other debris could possibly enter into the laser body.
There is no duty cycle listed on this laser - but I was careful not to exceed the "expected" duty cycle of most pen units - 60 seconds on and 10 seconds off....better to be safe than sorry I say !
The laser is not as visible as a green, or even the blues I have seen - but the truly exotic color of the royal purple that is blu-ray is absolutely breathtaking ! I will accept suggestions from you all for a video or two with this laser to show off the exotic color a little better - I am afraid my pictures do not do it the justice it deserves. The color is simply gorgeous in my book - one not to be missed out on. If you do not currently have a blu-ray laser in your collection, I strongly urge you to purchase one - I like the looks and feel of this laser tremendously - and will be sad to see it go back to it's rightful owner :-(
The divergence on this particular unit is not that great - I did not measure it exactly, but the beam expands tremendously after about 30 feet, so if you were using it for pointing, I would suggest a shorter length !
In summary - this laser's exotic emission color, coupled withthe feel of the laser in your hand make this an item that should most definitely be added to your collections - I highly suggest this seller, and this laser !
